I have clients where in the first session it becomes clear they are disconnected from their spirit and therefore not strong in their personal power. Upon determining their receptivity, I will hold a discussion with them. There was a period in my life in which I was also disconnected from my spirit.
This is often due to trauma and disassociating from our bodies to cope at the time however, we ‘forget’ to return to our bodies. This leads to the manifestation of illness and we may start seeking help from the medical model which can lead to the creation of more sickness in the guise of side effects. Eventually, our inner knowing gets loud enough to hear that this is taking us away from ourselves instead of obtaining the support and tools to deal with the trauma and meet our needs to heal. Feeling the feelings and letting them go is a pathway to healing, something we could not do while experiencing the traumatic event or situation. Reconnecting with your spirit is often a journey or process rather than an event in which reoccurs.
Upon doing some research I saw that there have been many professionals who have covered this topic and ultimately, if this is relevant to you, I encourage you to do your research and take action for what works best for you. Regular sessions with me will provide you with extra support and insight whilst you are on this self explorative journey.
A few resources which may assist in getting started include:
- Book: Calling back my spirit by Elaine Alec, 2020

- Book: Anatomy of the Spirit by Carolyn Myss, 1997

- Ho’Oponopono Mantra minimum x3 twice a day for a whole month
Additionally, helpful actions can include: Reflexology treatment, Reiki treatment, meditation, reading relevant texts, yoga, soma dance, swimming, bush walks, wilfully calling back your spirit in meditation.
You may use the following incantation/affirmation:
I lovingly release what no longer serves me and forgive myself and others for causing harm. I call back my spirit from time gone by and be in my present body, continue forward, freely, at ease, trusting and listening to my inner guidance. Be well, Be well, Be well. And so it is.
Please remember to add to your research, tap into your inner guidance, trust it and take action.
I look forward to seeing you at your next session at Heel to Heal.
Many Blessings
